Physical Therapy is an active program available for residents who have potential to restore their maximum functional potential and improve their overall health and well-being. Physical Therapy includes strengthening and retraining that will allow patients to become more independent with walking, transfer techniques, using prosthetics, and mobility within the facility, home and community. Physical Therapy can provide assistance which will help control our patients risk of falls and improve safety upon discharge.
Occupational Therapy is a program available for residents needing restoration in the performance of daily living tasks while encouraging independence. Occupational Therapy focuses on activities and training that promote independence with managing day to day living tasks, known as ADLs, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating skills. Occupational Therapy can work with patients and patients families members to help them return to their hobbies and interest.
Speech Therapy is a program available for residents with communication, hearing, and swallowing difficulties. Speech Therapy evaluates a residents’ understanding and use of language, speech production, voice and swallowing ability.
